Bullying at school...

I know you as parents are very concerned about bullying at school at home... Unfortunately the world we live in and the times we live in makes it all the more important to teach our kids the skills necessary to deal with a bully. 


A BULLY IS SOMEONE WHO CONTINUES TO DO SOMETHING EITHER WITH THEIR WORDS OR HANDS AND FEET AFTER WE ASK THEM TO STOP!!!


On Tuesday we talked about bullies and what we can do... 


If a bully is being mean with their words we can do the following...


We can say...
     Thanks for sharing that, I'm sorry you feel that way.
and show them the COOL LOOK! (ask your child to show you)

We can...

      ignore them and walk away

      If this doesn't work... go find an adult or grown up right away!


If a bully is using their hands and/or feet we need to find an adult or a grownup right away!!!


Bullying is not ok and needs to be stopped before it even starts... are classroom goal is to be kind and friendly to everyone!
